Baseball Recap: Seekonk Continues Home Dominance on Monday

Seekonk barely beat Case the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Warriors were the clear victors by a 7-0 margin over the Cardinals on Monday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Warriors.

Javi Borges was excellent, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 2-for-3. He has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played. Colin Lush also deserves some recognition as he got his first hits of the season.

Seekonk was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .379. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Case only posted a batting average of .160.

Seekonk pushed their record up to 2-2 with the victory, which was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.2 runs on average over those games. As for Case, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-3.
