Volleyball Recap: Coastal Academy's Win on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Coastal Academy had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the El Capitan Vaqueros.

Zac Garland paced Coastal Academy's offense, picking up ten kills. Garland got some help from Cole Sulouff and his 18 assists. Finally, Garland was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high two blocks.

The victory got Coastal Academy back to even at 5-5. As for El Capitan, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-4.

Coastal Academy has already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against San Dieguito Academy on the 14th. As for El Capitan, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Horizon Prep on the 14th.
