Basketball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Pace

Pace had won two straight games and Bre Nelson did her part to make it three on Saturday. The Pace Vikings were the clear victor by a 48-26 margin over the Donna North Chiefs thanks in part to Nelson, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and ten boards. She is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed four or more in the last four games she's played.

Lilia Rodela was another key player, putting up 14 points and seven steals. That's the most points she has posted since back in November.

Pace's record is now 9-12. As for Donna North, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-18.

Pace will face off against Rivera at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Donna North, they will square off against Weslaco East at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Donna North is facing Weslaco East at the right time seeing as Weslaco East is stuck on a 15-game losing streak.
