Baseball Game Preview: Fieldcrest Knights vs. Henry-Senachwine Mallards

The Fieldcrest Knights will venture away from home to challenge the Henry-Senachwine Mallards at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Henry-Senachwine took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Fieldcrest, who comes in off a win.

Fieldcrest lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Ridgeview, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Wednesday's game. The Knights never let the Mustangs get on the board and left with a 10-0 victory on Wednesday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Knights as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Meanwhile, Henry-Senachwine was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of Marquette.

Fieldcrest now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Henry-Senachwine, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-11.

Fieldcrest beat Henry-Senachwine 6-2 in their previous matchup back in April of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Knights since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
