            Volleyball Recap: Campo Verde Coyotes vs. Mountain Pointe Pride        
        
		
        
        
            Campo Verde had to endure  a  four-match losing streak, but that streak is no more. They walked away with  a   3-1  victory over the Mountain Pointe Pride  on Thursday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won  3-0  back in September.
 Campo Verde had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 18-25, 25-11, 25-19,  25-19.

 Campo Verde can attribute much of their success to  Kendal Kellar, who  had 14  digs and four assists. That's the most  digs  Kellar has posted since back in September.  Jenna Stecker also deserves some recognition as  she  served her first  ace of the season.
The  win  got Campo Verde back to even at 16-16. As for Mountain Pointe, they have  traveled a rocky road recently, having  lost 17 of their last 19 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-24 record  this season.
 Campo Verde didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  matchup,  a  3-1  loss against Arizona College Prep on the 27th. As for Mountain Pointe, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next  match,  a  3-2  defeat against Desert Mountain on the 27th.
