Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Fort Gibson). They skirted past the Mannford Pirates 12-11. The Tigers haven't had any issues with the Pirates recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Fort Gibson's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-19. As for Mannford, they are on an 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-17.

Coming up, Fort Gibson is taking a road trip to face off against Checotah at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Wildcats have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.55 runs per game on average), something the Tigers will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Mannford, they will look to defend their home field on Monday against Skiatook at 5:00 p.m. The Pirates will need to watch out since the Bulldogs have now posted at least ten runs in their last three matches.
