Softball Recap: South Hills Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact South Hills can now relate to. They came up short against the Brewer Bears on Friday, falling 16-5. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bears this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 18-1 on Thursday.

Moriah Dean was cooking despite her team's loss, firing off two home runs and four RBI while going 2-for-3. Those home runs were her first of the season.

South Hills now has a losing record of 17-18-1. As for Brewer, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 22-12.

As of now, neither South Hills nor the Bears have any future games scheduled.
