Basketball Recap: Galway Comes Up Short

It was a Battle of the Birds when Galway challenged Northville on Wednesday. The Galway Golden Eagles fell to the Northville Falcons 55-49. The Golden Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Falcons apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2024.

Galway's defeat was their seventh straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-15. As for Northville, their victory bumped their record up to 8-9.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Schoharie the next time they take the court. Northville will host Schoharie at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, while Galway will host them at 7:00 p.m. on February 12th.
