Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Riverview). Everything went their way against the Freedom Patriots on Thursday as the Riverview Sharks made off with a 10-2 win. It was an even better day for Sanai Ames as she scored three goals for her team.

Riverview's victory bumped their record up to 7-5-1. As for Freedom, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-7 record this season.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Riverview will face off against Alonso at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Alonso's defense has only allowed 0.4 goals per game this season, so Riverview's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Freedom, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Spoto at 7:00 p.m. on January 28th.
