Soccer Recap: Valley Christian Comes Up Short

Valley Christian lost against Glenn last Monday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Valley Christian Defenders fell just short of the Glenn Eagles by a score of 1-0.

Valley Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6-1. As for Glenn, they pushed their record up to 7-2-2 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home.

Valley Christian will be home for the holidays to greet Mayfair at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Valley Christian's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end. As for Glenn, they will head out on the road to square off against Gahr at 12:00 p.m. on Friday. Glenn is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.7 goals per game this season.
