Basketball Game Preview: Trinity Episcopal Titans vs. Christchurch School Seahorses

The Trinity Episcopal Titans will face off against the Christchurch School Seahorses at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Wednesday, Trinity Episcopal didn't have too much trouble with St. Margaret's as they won 69-52.

Meanwhile, Christchurch School strolled past Grace Christian School with points to spare on Saturday, taking the game 43-26. The squad ran away with 31 points in the first half and mostly just sat on those to pick up the win.

Trinity Episcopal better keep an eye on Alexis Foster. She was instrumental in Christchurch School's win, putting up 18 points in addition to five assists and five boards. That makes it four consecutive games in which Foster has scored at least a third of Christchurch School's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaclyn Callis, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 11 rebounds.

Christchurch School was working as a unit and finished the game with 11 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Grace Christian School only posted two assists.

Trinity Episcopal is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a massive bump to their 12-8 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.2 points per game. As for Christchurch School, their victory bumped their record up to 5-11.

Trinity Episcopal didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Christchurch School when the teams last played back in November of 2023, but they still walked away with a 45-41 win. Will Trinity Episcopal repeat their success, or does Christchurch School have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
