Baseball Recap: Bartlett Yancey Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for Bartlett Yancey's offense. They came up short against the Southeast Alamance Stallions on Friday, falling 14-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Stallions this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 12-1 last Tuesday.

Bartlett Yancey has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-10 record this season. As for Southeast Alamance, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matches. That lines up perfectly with their 12-4 record this season.

Bartlett Yancey will be playing at home against Jordan-Matthews at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Buccaneers are facing the Jets at the right time seeing as the Jets are stuck on a 12-game losing streak. As for Southeast Alamance, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 10-0 loss against Seaforth on the 8th.
