Basketball Recap: Larissa Jones' Big Game Can't Quite Lead Oneida over Campbell County

Oneida lost against Campbell County back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Oneida Indians fell 46-36 to the Campbell County Cougars. While losing is never fun, the Indians can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 228th, while the Cougars are ranked 36th).

Oneida lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Larissa Jones, who went 6 of 8 to rack up 13 points. The dominant performance also gave Jones a new career-high in shooting accuracy (75%). Elli West was another key player, putting up eight points and five assists.
