Softball Recap: Wilson Finds Playoff Glory Versus Cordova

It's playoff time, and Wilson had no trouble coming through when it counted. They never let the Cordova Blue Devils get on the board and left with a 13-0 win on Wednesday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Warriors considering their one-run performance the matchup before.

Wilson is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 31-23 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Cordova, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 31-16.

Wilson didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 2-1 loss against Hamilton on the 7th. As for Cordova, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-2 win against Good Hope on the 7th.
