Football Recap: East Central Hornets vs. Lake Travis Cavaliers
It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact East Central can now relate to. They had to suffer through a 52-7 loss at the hands of the Lake Travis Cavaliers. The Hornets were red-hot offensively headed into the game (they scored no less than 31 points in the seven matchups prior) but the Cavaliers' defense proved too tough.

East Central moved to 9-4 with that defeat, which also ended their four-game winning streak. As for Lake Travis, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 12-1.
East Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lake Travis, they will square off against Westlake at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both might be coming in a bit winded given these two teams combined for 1,132 yards in their previous games.
