Softball Recap: Academy of Our Lady Comes Up Short

Academy of Our Lady lost against St. Mary's Dominican back in February of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Academy of Our Lady took a 9-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of St. Mary's Dominican. The Penguins have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Academy of Our Lady's loss dropped their record down to 6-10. As for St. Mary's Dominican, they pushed their record up to 10-8 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Academy of Our Lady will head out to take on Lutcher at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for St. Mary's Dominican, they will square off against Vandebilt Catholic at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
