Softball Recap: Liberty-Eylau Takes a Loss

Liberty-Eylau was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Redwater Dragons, falling 22-1. The Leopards were not able to make up for their loss to the Dragons from their previous meeting back in February of 2022.

Liberty-Eylau's defeat dropped their record down to 0-12. As for Redwater, their win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-12-1.

Coming up, Liberty-Eylau will venture away from home to challenge De Kalb at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. De Kalb's pitching crew has only allowed 2.2 runs per game this season, so Liberty-Eylau's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Redwater, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Atlanta at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Redwater's pitchers better be ready for this one: Atlanta has averaged an impressive 8.5 runs per game this season.
