Volleyball Recap: Searcy Comes Up Short

After flying high against Trumann on Tuesday, Searcy came back down to earth. The Lions lost 3-0 to the Paragould Rams on Thursday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Rams this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Searcy's defeat dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Paragould, the win snapped their losing streak at three matches and leaves them with a 10-12-1 record.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Searcy will take on rival Greene County Tech at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Paragould is set to challenge their familiar foe Marion at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
