Basketball Game Preview: Mishicot Indians vs. Goodman-Pembine Falcons

The Mishicot Indians will venture away from home to challenge the Goodman-Pembine Falcons at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Mishicot is coming into the game on a six-game losing streak.

It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 88-50, which was the final score in Mishicot's tilt against Kiel on Saturday. While losing is never fun, the Indians can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 456th, while the Raiders are ranked 143rd).

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Goodman-Pembine). They walked away with a 64-56 victory over Tri-County on Friday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Falcons as it put an end to their six-game losing streak.

Mishicot's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Goodman-Pembine, their victory bumped their record up to 2-6.

Mishicot didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Goodman-Pembine in their previous matchup back in January, but they still walked away with a 60-56 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Mishicot since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
