Rockwood Summit entered their tilt with Republic on Friday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. They put the hurt on the Tigers with a sharp 13-4 win. Considering the Falcons have won five matchups by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Rockwood Summit's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-4. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Republic, their loss dropped their record down to 10-9.

Coincidentally, Rockwood Summit and Republic will both be playing Webb City the next time they take the field. The Falcons will head out to face the Cardinals on Saturday, while the Tigers will host them at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
