Volleyball Recap: Roy Wins Going Away Against Logan

Roy barely beat Logan the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Royals were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Grizzlies on Tuesday. That looming 3-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Royals yet this season.

While Roy won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 29-27, 25-10.

Roy is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-2 record this season. As for Logan, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-11.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Roy will venture away from home to take on Box Elder at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. After both having extra time off, Logan and Ben Lomond will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The game will give the Grizzlies their first taste of in-conference action this season.
