Recap: Menominee Maroons vs. North Muskegon Norsemen
Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only the Menominee Maroons walked away with it. They walked away with a 32-21 victory over North Muskegon on Saturday. The win was nothing new for Menominee as they're now sitting on five straight.
On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Menominee's defense and their six sacks. Landan Bardowski was particularly dangerous to the passing game, picking up three sacks himself.
Menominee's victory bumped their record up to 11-2. As for North Muskegon, their loss ended a seven-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-1.
Menominee will square off against Lumen Christi Catholic at 9:30 a.m. on Sunday. Lumen Christi Catholic is coming into the contest hot, having won their last five games. North Muskegon does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
