Who's got the ultimate bragging rights when it comes to sending players to the NFL from the high school ranks in Washington?

To find out, MaxPreps and Lateral Sports teamed up and found the alma mater of every player on an NFL roster as of opening day (we included suspended and injured reserve players). Then we broke it all down by state and came up with the table below.

You will find that Washington has sent 22 players to the league this season, and four different schools have multiple alums at the highest level.

Want some more fun facts? How about these:

- The home-state Seattle Seahawks have two Washington-bred players: Tani Tupou (defensive tackle, Archbishop Murphy) and Jermaine Kearse (wide receiver, Lakes). No other team has more, but  the Saints, Browns and Jaguars also have two each.

- Twelve of the 16 NFC teams have Washington alums but only six AFC teams do.

- Guard is the most popular position that Washington supplies to the NFL. Four of the 22 players are guards, followed by four defensive linemen (all positions), and two each of cornerbacks, wide receivers and quarterbacks.
