Volleyball Game Preview: Foshay Wolverines vs. Port of Los Angeles Polar Bears

The Foshay Wolverines will venture away from home to challenge the Port of Los Angeles Polar Bears at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Port of Los Angeles took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Foshay, who comes in off a win.

Port of Los Angeles will face off against a team with plenty of momentum: Foshay extended their winning streak to three on Wednesday. The Wolverines put the hurt on Hawkins with a sharp 3-0 win.

Meanwhile, Port of Los Angeles came up short against Fremont on Wednesday, falling 3-0. The Polar Bears have struggled against the Pathfinders recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost meeting.

Foshay's victory bumped their record up to 11-3. As for Port of Los Angeles, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-5.

Foshay was able to grind out a solid win over Port of Los Angeles in their previous matchup back in March, winning 3-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wolverines since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
