Softball Recap: Palisades Takes a Loss

Palisades lost against Myers Park back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Pumas lost 14-2 to the Mustangs. The Pumas have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Mariah Rushin made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-3.

Palisades' loss dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Myers Park, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-5.

Looking ahead, Palisades will square off against Stuart W. Cramer at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Pumas are facing the Storm at the right time seeing as the Storm are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Myers Park, they will challenge Charlotte Catholic at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
