Softball Game Preview: Old Bridge Knights vs. St. Thomas Aquinas Trojans

The Old Bridge Knights will head out on the road to challenge the St. Thomas Aquinas Trojans at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams are strolling into their matchups after big wins in their previous games.

Old Bridge is headed out to face St. Thomas Aquinas after opening their season at home and giving their fans just what they were looking for. The Knights put the hurt on Metuchen with a sharp 11-4 victory on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, St. Thomas Aquinas had to kick off their season on the road on Tuesday, but they showed no ill effects. They were the clear victors by a 7-1 margin over Monroe Township. The Trojans haven't had any issues with the Falcons recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.

Old Bridge was able to grind out a solid victory over St. Thomas Aquinas when the teams last played back in May of 2024, winning 7-2. Will the Knights repeat their success, or do the Trojans have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
