Basketball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Washington-Wilkes

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Washington-Wilkes walked away with it. They strolled past the Brooks County Trojans with points to spare on Tuesday, taking the game 66-48. The win was familiar territory for the Tigers, who have now won three matchups in a row.

Washington-Wilkes' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Myasia Lewis, who went 8-for-11 en route to 18 points along with five boards and five steals. The dominant performance also gave Lewis a new career-high in field goal percentage (73%). Another player making a difference was Crew Lanaysia, who went 6-for-15 to rack up 14 points in addition to six steals and five assists.
