Volleyball Recap: Elkmont Comes Up Short

Elkmont was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Lindsay Lane Christian Academy Lions. The Red Devils were not able to make up for their defeat to the Lions from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

Riley Green was nothing short of spectacular for Lindsay Lane Christian Academy: she had five digs and four aces. That's the most aces Green has posted over her last 13 matchups. Katelyn Dixon was another key player, getting five kills, five digs, and one block.

Elkmont's loss dropped their record down to 8-14. As for Lindsay Lane Christian Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-15 record this season.
