Whitehall-Yearling scored the most runs they've had this season on Monday, but it wasn't enough. They came up short against the Bishop Ready Silver Knights, falling 13-5. The loss continues a trend for the Rams in their meetings with the Silver Knights: they've now lost seven in a row.

Christian Miller was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 2-for-3. Stacy Wood also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Whitehall-Yearling's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Bishop Ready, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Whitehall-Yearling will welcome Mifflin at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bishop Ready, they will host Bexley at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
