Baseball Game Preview: King George Foxes vs. Eastern View Cyclones

The King George Foxes will venture away from home to square off against the Eastern View Cyclones at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. King George is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last five games.

King George will bounce into Tuesday's game after beating Courtland, who they had gone 1-8 against in their nine prior meetings. The Foxes never let the Cougars get on the board and left with a 3-0 win on Thursday. That's two games straight that the Foxes have won by exactly three runs.

Eastern View played against James Monroe on Tuesday and won via forfeit.

Eastern View is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.2 runs on average over those games. As for King George, they pushed their record up to 11-6 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home.

King George couldn't quite finish off Eastern View in their previous meeting back in April and fell 3-1. Can the Foxes avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
