Volleyball Game Preview: Edison Vikings vs. Argonaut Mustangs + How To Watch

The Edison Vikings are taking a road trip to challenge the Argonaut Mustangs at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Saturday, Edison came up short against Liberty and fell 2-0. The Vikings haven't had much luck with the Lions recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Edison was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-20.

Meanwhile, Argonaut lost 3-0 to Hughson on Monday.

While Argonaut was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Hughson's winning margin in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-13, 25-18.

Argonaut's defeat dropped their record down to 2-3. As for Edison, their loss dropped their record down to 1-2.

Everything went Edison's way against Argonaut when the teams last played back in August of 2024, as Edison made off with a 3-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Vikings since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
