Football Game Preview: Glynn Academy Terrors vs. Greenbrier Wolfpack

The Glynn Academy Terrors will head out on the road to face off against the Greenbrier Wolfpack at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Glynn Academy easily dispatched South Effingham on October 10th, but unfortunately both the margin and the ultimate result were a different story in this one. The Terrors fell just short of Effingham County by a score of 45-42 on Friday. The close game was extra heartbreaking for the Terrors, who almost overcame a 25 point deficit.

Meanwhile, Greenbrier scored the most points they've had this season on Friday, but it wasn't enough. They took a 45-35 hit to the loss column at the hands of Evans. The Wolfpack have struggled against the Knights recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.

Greenbrier's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Glynn Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 5-4.

Glynn Academy was able to grind out a solid win over Greenbrier when the teams last played back in November of 2024, winning 28-21. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Terrors since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
