Soccer Recap: Hinsdale South's Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Seven

Hinsdale South proved they can win big last Thursday (they won by five) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Downers Grove South Mustangs 3-2. The game was the first time Hinsdale South have beaten Downers Grove South on their pitch since April 11, 2017.

The win (which was Hinsdale South's seventh in a row) raised their record to 14-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 35 goals over those seven contests. As for Downers Grove South, their loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 5-6-2.
