Basketball Recap: Elgin Takes a Loss

Elgin lost against Bethany back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Elgin Owls were outmatched by the Bethany Bronchos and fell 60-23. The game marked the Owls' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Elgin has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season. As for Bethany, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-4.

Elgin has already played their next match (against Southeast), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Bethany has already played their next game, a 54-43 win against Purcell on the 25th.
