Vandegrift has gone 4-0 against Hutto recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Vandegrift Vipers will venture away from home to square off against the Hutto Hippos at 7:15 p.m. Vandegrift is coming into the game hot, having won their last five games.

Vandegrift is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. They were the clear victor by an 8-0 margin over Manor on Friday. Given the Vipers' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 49th, while the Mustangs are ranked 610th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, after failing to score in their last matchup, Hutto made sure to put some goals up on the board against Stony Point on Friday. They came out on top against the Tigers by a score of 4-2. Considering the Hippos' offense had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

Vandegrift has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 6-2-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 29 goals over those seven games. As for Hutto, they now have a winning record of 4-3-1.

Everything went Vandegrift's way against Hutto in their previous meeting back in March of 2022, as Vandegrift made off with a 3-0 win. Will Vandegrift repeat their success, or does Hutto have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
