Soccer Game Preview: Washington vs. Clover Park + How To Watch

The Washington Patriots will face off against the Clover Park Timberwolves at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Washington came up short against Steilacoom on Thursday, falling 8-1. While losing is never fun, Washington can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington soccer rankings (they are ranked 212th, while Steilacoom are ranked 37th).

Washington's goal came courtesy of Bella Phipps, who's now up to nine this season.

Meanwhile, Monday just wasn't the day for Clover Park's offense. They lost 7-0 to Eatonville on Monday. Clover Park haven't had much luck with Eatonville recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Clover Park's loss dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Washington, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-8.

Washington skirted past Clover Park 2-1 in their previous meeting back in September. Will the Patriots repeat their success, or do the Timberwolves have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
