Baseball Recap: Prosser Takes a Loss

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Prosser's offense. They fell 4-0 to the Othello Huskies on Tuesday. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Huskies this season, with their most recent defeat being a 11-3 loss on Tuesday.

Prosser's loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Othello, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 6-1.

Looking ahead, Prosser will head out to square off against East Valley at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Red Devils will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something the Mustangs surely won't give up without a fight. As for Othello, they and Grandview will meet in a dog eat dog contest at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Greyhounds have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.29 runs per game on average), something the Huskies will no doubt try to take advantage of.
