Baseball Recap: Francis Parker Gets the Win

Francis Parker's game on Wednesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They came out on top against the Central Yellow Jackets by a score of 9-5. The Wyverns haven't had any issues with the Yellow Jackets recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Jackson Gray made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He didn't allow a single hit and allowed only two earned runs while striking out ten over four innings pitched. He has become a key player for Francis Parker: the team is undefeated when he posts at least ten strikeouts, but 2-6-1 otherwise. Gray was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with three stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI.
