Recap: Springdale Prep Lions vs. Rosedale Christian Academy Rosedale Panthers
The Springdale Prep Lions put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They took down Rosedale Christian Academy 83-66. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Leading Springdale Prep to victory were Tarkan Bahcivanci and N'Faba Mane. Bahcivanci scored 23 points along with 5 steals, while Mane dropped a double-double on 17 points and 10 rebounds. The matchup was Bahcivanci's third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was D'yan Carter, who scored 11 points.
Springdale Prep's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-0. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 85.7 points per game. As for Rosedale Christian Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Springdale Prep won't have much time to rest: their next game is against McLean at 6:30 p.m. on December 1st. McLean is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak. As for Rosedale Christian Academy, they will be playing at home against Tri-State Christian at 12:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Tri-State Christian focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up ten on Friday.
