Basketball Game Preview: North Marion Colts vs. Osceola Kowboys

The North Marion Colts will take on the Osceola Kowboys at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

On Friday, North Marion was able to grind out a solid win over Gainesville, taking the game 57-46. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Colts.

Meanwhile, Osceola didn't have too much trouble with St. Cloud on Friday as they won 65-49.

North Marion better keep an eye on Luke Mccrimon. He was instrumental in Osceola's win, shooting 62% from the field on his way to 19 points. The contest was Mccrimon's ninth in a row with at least 16 points. Ryan Rodriguez was another key player, putting up 12 points and three steals.

North Marion's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Osceola, their win bumped their record up to 3-0.

North Marion won a game that couldn't have been any closer in their previous meeting back in January of 2023, slipping by Osceola 42-41. Will the Colts repeat their success, or do the Kowboys have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
