Volleyball Recap: Aliyah Cooper's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Parkridge Christian over Non Varsity Opponent

Parkridge Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to Non Varsity Opponent. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Non Varsity Opponent this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-1 back in September.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-13, 25-18.

Parkridge Christian lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Aliyah Cooper, who had 15 digs and six kills. She has been hot recently, having posted ten or more digs the last three times she's played. Another player making a difference was Magnolia Williamson, who had seven digs and five assists.

Parkridge Christian's loss dropped their record down to 6-10.

Parkridge Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Non Varsity Opponent, they will head out to take on Wardlaw Hartridge at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
