Esch came up big in Columbus' 51-49 victory
In one of his most outstanding performances to date, Tanner Esch scored 17 points along with seven rebounds and two steals, making Thursday's game his highest-scoring outing yet this season. He continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. For the year, he has averaged 9.4 points, 2.2 steals, and 2.6 assists per game.
Esch and Columbus won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Lincoln High at 7:15 p.m. on January 26th. The matchup will pit Esch up against Lincoln High's star point guard Klayton Nguyen. Will Esch turn in another gem to overcome Columbus? We'll have our answer very soon.
