Volleyball Recap: Brooks Debartolo Collegiate Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Brooks DeBartolo Collegiate couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They lost 3-0 to the Harvest Community Warriors on Tuesday. The Phoenix have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The final score came out to 25-15, 25-20, 25-20.

Raven Lewis paced Brooks DeBartolo Collegiate's offense, picking up nine kills. Lewis got some help from Colin Kress Loy and his nine assists. Blake Beasley controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Brooks DeBartolo Collegiate's defeat dropped their record down to 14-5. As for Harvest Community, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-6 record this season.

Brooks DeBartolo Collegiate does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Harvest Community, they will take on Sports Leadership & Management at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Spartans will roll in looking for their 22nd straight win, something the Warriors surely won't give up without a fight.
