Volleyball Game Preview: Denison Yellow Jackets vs. Greenville Lions + How To Watch

Denison is 0-7 against Greenville since September of 2020 but things could change on Friday. The Yellow Jackets will head out on the road to square off against the Lions at 5:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Denison came up short against Melissa on Tuesday, falling 3-0.

Denison was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-22, 25-18.

Meanwhile, Greenville didn't have quite enough to beat Anna on Tuesday and fell 3-2.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Greenville sadly wound up on the wrong side. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 17-25, 25-17, 24-26, 15-13.

Greenville's loss dropped their record down to 12-15. As for Denison, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-16.

Denison couldn't quite get it done against Greenville in their previous matchup back in October of 2024 as they fell 3-1. Thankfully for the Yellow Jackets, Cailtyn Musil (who had 17 digs and three aces) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result? There's only one way to find out.
