Softball Recap: Friday's Loss Ends Mission Bay's Winning Streak

Mission Bay fell victim to Canyon Hills and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They fell just short of the Rattlers by a score of 2-0. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, the Buccaneers' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

With the defeat, Mission Bay broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 7-4. As for Canyon Hills, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season.

Mission Bay will square off against Morse at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Canyon Hills, they will face off against Eastlake at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Titans' pitching crew has only allowed 2.6 runs per game this season, so the Rattlers' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
