Basketball Recap: Clarksville Takes a Loss

Clarksville lost against LaVergne back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Clarksville Wildcats took a blow against the LaVergne Wolverines, falling 67-40. The match marked the Wildcats' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Clarksville's loss was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-7. As for LaVergne, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-7.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Clarksville will challenge Kirkwood at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for LaVergne, they will host Rockvale at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Rockvale is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 62.9 points per game this season.
