If Lutcher was feeling good fresh off their 15-0 takedown of Riverdale last Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Lutcher Bulldogs fell just short of the St. James Wildcats by a score of 9-8 on Tuesday. The Bulldogs' loss signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Lutcher's defeat dropped their record down to 10-6. As for St. James, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lutcher will square off against Live Oak at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Live Oak will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Lutcher surely won't give up without a fight. As for St. James, a feisty cat fight will be fought as St. James Wildcats challenge East Iberville Tigers at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
