Volleyball Recap: South Takes a Loss

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when South and Chardon meet (two straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Tuesday. The Rebels took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hilltoppers. The Rebels were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Hilltoppers earlier this season, when they won 3-1.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 19-25, 25-21, 25-19.

South dropped their record down to 15-8 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Chardon, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 11-12.

As of now, neither South nor the Hilltoppers have any future games scheduled.
