Recap: Vacaville Christian Falcons vs. Pierce Bears

The Vacaville Christian Falcons's three-game losing streak came to an end on Saturday. They walked away with a 54-47 victory over Pierce. This was payback for Vacaville Christian, who suffered a 52-47 loss the last time these two teams met.

Vacaville Christian got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Tai Douglas out in front who scored 14 points along with three steals. Those 14 points set a new season-high mark for him. The team also got some help courtesy of Adam Foreman, who scored 13 points.

Vacaville Christian's win bumped their record up to 4-8. As for Pierce, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-11.

Vacaville Christian will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Golden Sierra at 7:30 p.m. on January 9th. Pierce and Willows will face off at 7:00 p.m. on January 3rd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday.
