Baseball Recap: Williston's Win on Monday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Williston put another one in the bag on Monday to keep their perfect season alive. They never let the Seven Rivers Christian Warriors onto the board and left with a 10-0 win. That's more bragging rights for the Red Devils, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Colby Jansen looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched.

On the hitting side, Anthony Gardea was incredible, going 1-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Cannon Sims, who scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in two of his four plate appearances.

Williston's record is now 3-0. As for Seven Rivers Christian, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Williston will face off against Hawthorne at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Seven Rivers Christian, they will challenge Tavares at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
